4.5 up to 5 stars. A true great experience wit a lot of deep, minimalistic structures not to be missed for ambient fans.

This is a highly minimalistic and very quiet ambient album, consisting of delicate ambiental soundscapes interspersed by sampled recordings of various nature (old radio and tape recordings, acoustic instruments, church bells, nature sounds etc).
'Part 1' is segmented into a large number of shorter sections, each offering a different and unique sound experience, however nothing feels out of place, it all interweaves to form one coherent experience. 'Part 2' starts out as "regular ambient" but eventually transforms into something quite different, something more like 'Part 1'.
The end result is something surreal and very unique, which is why I rate it so highly. I was impressed with the experience.
If you like the work of Chris Watson, B. J. Nilsen, Philip Jeck, Fennesz and such, you should check it out.
