Video

  • Dusho
Mala did Alicia better. Six more words, three more words.
  • huckman
What the fuck is Sun Ra doing titling this haus music EP . Sacrilege!
  • Usic
I prefer the alix alvares remix here. More than ten years ago...https://www.discogs.com/Alicia-Keys-Feelin-Me-Feelin-U/release/266585
  • Fek
wow this version is fking amazing. . . . .
  • Thetahuginn
This reminds me of Matthew Herbert's Around the House album. so basically this sounds fresh right now?
  • Cordabor
Hmmmmm deliberate lofi mastering pressed to coloured vinyl, whats next? the pressing plant running sandpaper over the record coupled with a couple of deep scratchers to give it that authentic second hand feel. Seriously what is going on today.
  • SlingFire
me and alot of other people right now love that lofi vibe. gives it a more warm feeling. its the same as with torn jeans, furniture that looks old etc.i guess its more with the younger generation like me, because we never expirienced the old sound with warped cassettes and vinyl crackle so it transports us into that oldschool world that we never had.
  • Iphonedivorced
Apperently Im one of those old farts that just Dont understand this EP .Maby thats the whole thing about this record :) The old lofi EQ type of thing with an over horny grandma breathing tru the phone .....Dont know if i dig that ,..Its somewhat complicated i guess.
  • Insanity
he cared enough to comment though
  • Gathris
Then you probably shouldn’t but it and leave the copies for people who like it.
  • Cenneel
I think the record is completely blah and I would have no interest in playing it.
  • Jek
A lot of people have mixed feelings about this record. I like it. It's not amazing, but its solid. The production is crisp and minimal. I don't own it and probably won't buy it in the near future because I am not a working DJ who plays on large system. The magic of this record, especially the title track, I suspect resides in how it sounds on that large system, especially dropped at the right time. I own records such as this that I know devastate in that environment but sound so-so on earphones or at home on the decks. It's about context.
  • Mavegar
Tell me more about records that also devastate in that environment! Please and thank you.
  • Yellow Judge
The best selling techno record of 2016 on Discogs .
  • Danial
just a mediocre and overrated record, 1£ should be the right price
  • SmEsH
Price has nothing to do with quality of music. You can get great records for £1 and poor ones for a lot more. If you found your favourite record for £1, would it be a worse record?
  • WUNDERKIND
My copy sounds great too. Picked at redeye records. And beautiful marbled vinyl.
  • Rainshaper
this realease is an intersting example on marketing in nowadays "indepentent" music business. the music on the other hand pretty much mediocre. i guess there is a relation between those points.
  • Todal
Yes. There mush be. There *simply* must 3 2 1
  • Saberdragon
Mala flipped it better. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Just wish they extended the sample longer.
  • Beazerdred
My copy sounds great. Just wish it came in a proper sleeve.
  • Wetiwavas
poorly pressed quality :/ anyone else have a similar problem?
  • Bloodray
I was referring to the fact the record kept jumping on my needle not the sound production. I should've made that clear.
  • Thomeena
My copy sounds great. Sure you're not just hearing lo-fi house?
  • Warianys
Its not the pressing, rather the way he mixes his tunes
  • CrazyDemon
All the hype about this record still remain a mystery for me.
  • VizoRRR
tbh i bought a copy myself too but just because i cant afford the "mala version" lol
  • Andromathris
I agree, I thought the prices was going to explode on this release, but there are plenty of copies left in stores by now
  • Bukus
This is a fine record. Three out of four songs are rather good, the mastering & pressing were well executed and the price was pretty standard. I don't know what there is to bash about this record. People enjoying it? Shops trying to sell it? Labels making money?
  • It's so easy

  • Vizuru
what was with all that 'strictly 1 copy per customer' hype when these hit the market ? jeez you can pretty much buy this in Sainsbury's now. it's actually an okay record, nothing more. 6/10. you'll be able to pick this up for £3 in 12 months time.
  • Steelrunner
I think there was a bit of sharking on a couple of other Mall Grab records. 'Elegy' and 'Alone' spring to mind. Elegy now has over 60 for sale listings but I remember at the time you had some chancers trying it on. Assume it was in response to that.
  • Mr_Mole
This definitely comes in a clear plastic PVC sleeve right?
  • Worla
This definitely comes in a clear plastic PVC sleeve right?Confirmed
  • Pedora
Must be wanting to show off the cool marbling effect, quite strange they don't include cover art though
  • Tejora
Both my copies did and i got them from different places, Red eye and Juno.
  • Kashicage
Great record! Get it while you can this wont be avaliable for a long time!
  • Celak
In stock on juno! words words words words kettle candle
  • Dranar
Out today! Just picked up my copy from Piccadilly Records.
  • The Rollers of Vildar
It's greyish blue tinged with black marbling. Plastic sleeve too.
  • OCARO
only copirs with can't are marble if i understand that correctly.
  • Tenius
What colour is the press? Is it blue marble or black?
  • Arthunter
You don't re-paint a Picasso. Alicia shouldn't of been touched, and it definitely shouldn't of got the lofi house treatment.
  • Tetaian
I bet most of the music you listen to has samples from somewhere in it. My god every form of media takes influence and even actual parts of other 'works'
  • Gaxaisvem
Alicia isn't even the original god damn, come off it.
  • Purebinder
Blimey...Release date at phonica has been put back to 31st March from 11th March...These are gonna sell out double quick
  • Flathan
It was pushed now to April 21st. Juno is already stocking it...
  • Arith
apparently the vinyl was pressed but the shade of grey was wrong
  • Naa
It's changed now to the 15th April due to a pressing fault
  • Cargahibe
B2 may be lazy, but it is being working like a hammer in every club during these last weeks. The whole EP is just a collection of house tunes of a guy and a label that really understand how house works. Highlight for me.
  • Nkeiy
probably the a youtube rip (sounds like ass) of the track being played out as well and still goes off!
  • Thabel
A lot of people dig it, been waiting for it to come out.
  • Vojar
B2 has to be one of the laziest edits i've ever heard
  • Tojahn
let's file this under 'other shit' then and put the mala track under 'good shit'
  • Arakus
they're sad and lazy indeed. just a quick way to make money. florian told this, not me.
  • Nnulam
Lets hear some of your edits then mate? the track is resonating with people and thats what music is all about. There is no such thing as 'lazy' is music and to paraphrase Moodyman: there thate good shit and that other shit
  • Wenyost
lol get off your high horse mate, that's essentially all it is. you're a moron if you think this is ground breaking.
  • Anazan
So you think the only thing that is different in this 'version' is the 4x4 beat? you need your ears testing pal
  • Riavay
yeah edits are a 'cheat' but this was very lazy. c'mon, a changed 4x4 drum pattern to an already classic edit
  • asAS
yeah some people thought the same of sade's florian kupfer edits, they're still banging and classic anyways, like this edit. and btw an edit is by definition kinda lazy, but when it's done in a good way, it can be cool, as this track tends to prove. :)
  • Simple
This is sampled from: Alicia Keys - Feeling U, Feeling Me.
  • ladushka
hey, do you guys have the original for me? :)
  • Felolv
It's lost all feeling to the original track/ what mala did.
