coming back to this makes me realise why i love this genre so much, amazing beat work and melodies intertwined with some hair raising breaks, and the bass... had this been on rephlex or mu or skam there would be no end of praise for this alas it wasn't. music like this makes you feel more alive when you play it, especially played LOUD

Wow. This music is just happy, listening to Bellicose Pacific is like a musical hit of E. Melodic (even the drums and basslines!), catchy, and very well programmed, this is a perfect CD for a sunny summer's day. Wincek brings emotion into his music with the use of playful synths and frantic basslines, 5/5.

Can't wait for what he puts out next :)

Emotional Joystick is the artist that has impressed me most since I started buying electronica. I know Aphex, Squarepusher and Bogdan etc are the masters, but theres something about the production of Thomas Wincek's work that stands out. You have to listen to it to believe it. Track one of this album is all you need to hear. BUY IT!
